News/Updates from EAHS 3-29-2026
· Photos that have been boxed for years are being digitized and downloaded into a digital cataloging platform called CatalogIt. This will allow accessibility to not only the community but the “world.” See the full story below.
· The online auction held in January was very successful! Items sitting in boxes or on shelves for years found a new home!
· EAHS Board and members from the Town, Library, Parks & Rec, DDA, American Legion Post, and District Re-2 met in February to brainstorm about a better display location for our military collection that would honor our community’s past and present military members/families. The Community Parks and Rec board has agreed to engage in discussion for a possible location for displaying the community military collection.
· The 4th Annual Antique Appraisal date with Daniel Geary has been set for Saturday, May 9th. Read the article here for full details.
· Saturday, July 11th, Eaton Community Days EAHS 4th annual burrito sale.
· Saturday, September 12th, 2nd annual “Timeless Threads”—featuring “Quilts.”
· November 20th or 21st; Member– guest Christmas Open House ….
· Carriage House is taking on a new look; featuring Eaton school and Eaton railroad memorabilia….
