Historical Society Announces Time Capsule Project, Seeks Participants

This is an invitation to participate in the Eaton Area Historical Society Time Capsule project.  As part of the coming celebration of the opening of the new Carriage House at the Eaton Museum this summer, we are seeking contributions to a Time Capsule to be locked in a trunk and placed in the new building as a way of reflecting the history that is being made right now.

WHO: We are seeking contributions from a wide variety of community entities (school groups/cohorts, teams, businesses, organizations, churches, clubs, community services, etc…)

WHAT: Items that offer your unique perspective or interpretation of life in the Eaton area in the period from  March, 2020 to May, 2021, and bring a message to future community members. Items will be placed in an Eaton Time Capsule and locked on June 1, 2021, and to remain secure there until opened on June 1, 2041.
